François is sick and the wind is still very strong, we decide to stay for a day at in the same spot. So we leave on Wednesday, the weather is nice and cold (ice cubes appeared at night in our water bottles). François is not in an Olympic shape but is still pedalling well. At noon, a border police car passing by tells us that the pass is closed. We are rather stubborn and not sure of our Spanish, so we stop a second car. They tell us that the road is closed, but we can pass and mime water (at least that's what we understand). We decide to continue, thinking we could always swim across a river if necessary or walk on boards as we did before.
