We start with a strong tailwind: 25kph over twelve kilometers. Then we change direction to reach Junin de los Andes. And here we've side wind and then headwide. we understand that the day will be hard. Our goal is to move as far as the border to pass the pass tomorrow. We arrive at Junin de los Andes around 11:00 am, we fill up our cookie stock and then we go upwind. We force a lot, it's tiring, and the wind stuns us. Indeed we are in Argentina! In short, we are torn at the end of the day. But the weather is nice, the landscape is beautiful. We are engulfed in during the day in a narrower valley (we get closer to the Andes), which reduces the headwind. We reach a rio to stop for the night: mission accomplished, it remains only 40 kilometers before the paso. Soon we should rest for a day.
