We leave early in the morning, it's really good to get back on the bike. To get out of Puerto Montt, we climb a little to find ourselves on a plateau. The clouds are gradually disappearing and let us see two volcanoes: the Calbuco volcano and the Osorno volcano. We are getting closer to the Osorno volcano, the highest (around 2600m).
From Puerto Varas to Ensanada, we go along a lake, which offers us beautiful landscapes. All on a nice bike path. We take a nap, the first on the road since the beginning of the trip.
Then we arrive at the Petrohué falls, but the entrance fee is not cheap. So we start looking for a place to sleep because we are getting closer to Petrohué. We find a very beautiful place just upstream of the falls. The ground is sandy, but as we are well sheltered and the wind is quite weak, there should be no worries tonight!
