We leave
early from our classroom, but not too early anyway because thanks to the
time zone change we've gained one hour of sleep. Pomata was only less than 10km from the school, we get there very quickly. We start riding along the lake Titicaca until Ilave, which we reach in the afternoon.
From there we leave the edge of the lake to return into the land, the road becomes more monotonous and a headwind rises to slow us down. Nevertheless we arrive at Acora early enough. We struggle a little to find where to sleep before ending up in a cheaper hotel than most of the disgusting Bolivian alojamientos, with a clean bed and a hot shower even though everything else is dirty. In the evening we eat a full meal in a clean looking restaurant for € 1 each, we start to really appreciate Peru.
