The afternoon is more complicated. A wind is rising, and obviously it's a strong headwind. We go after eating to San Cristóbal, the city which has the biggest open pit mining of the country . This brings a lot of trucks and it's immediately less fun. The weather is also getting worst, it's getting colder and the first raining clouds appear. Arrived at San Cristóbal, we decide to push another 13 kilometers, until Vila Vila. We take an hour and a half for thirteen kilometers with this wind. We finish in the only hospedaje of the village, in a very welcoming family. We understand that we are in another countriy when the owner announces that there is no water today, but that there will be tomorrow. So we wash in a basin with water collected in advance, and we eat quinoa, the national cereal.
