We leave our campsite and cross Epernay. In the Rue de Champagne, the buildings are huge and luxurious. Then the road is quite busy. We go to Oiry, a small village of François's great-grandfather, to take some pictures. We continue our journey and go along the Côte des Blancs, one of the famous hill for Champagne. We therefore see a lot of vineyards.
We pass the bar of 9000 kilometers. We are proud. More than 1000 kilometers and we reach our hidden target of 10,000 km!
We arrive early to our Warmshower hosts, Eric and Véronique. Eric takes care of the maintenance of the gymnasium and the municipal stadium. We settle on a soft gym mat, then after an end of year aperitif of a gym activity, we spend a very good meal with our guests, with lots of local products.
