We leave Marolles in Hurepoix. We're rested and rather fit. Seeing the family and friends was great. This morning, the sky is gray. We're going to Orléans, to visit friends.
We go from villages to villages to Etampes, by little quite roads, very nice. It's raining a bit, and we're doing the morning break underwater, but it's not a big downpour.
Shortly after Etampes, fields and fields again, even more monotonous than Champagne, because it's really all flat! Despite the wind which is rising, we move quickly enough, François is in a hurry (he doesn't like the monotonous roads) and pushes a bit. It's a fairly tough day overall. But in the evening, we are rewarded because we see our friends, and spend a good evening with them.
