The landscape around the estancia is also beautiful in the morning. The route is very beautiful: mountains of different shapes and colors, streams and adobe farms and stone walls. The weather is always bright and the wind is like absent. A good day as we like them.
We also meet many llamas on the way. Thesebeasts are curious but timid, they approach slowly towards us and
when they are 2-3m from us, the slightest movement and they flee. In the afternoon we pass the bar of 6000km by bicycle.
In the evening we sleep in the hamlet of Chaquilla, 72km from Potosi. Not much choice to sleep, there is only one filthy "alojamiento" run by two old people. Bolivians are generally small, sometimes their home too. François will come out with a nice bump on the forehead.
