We wake up in our tipi, get ready and have the opportunity to chat with
Cecilia and Javier, the owners of the orchard. They tell us that they
actually have 4 different farms, including a vineyard. Very generously he offers us a bottle of wine and peaches.
The landscape is
beautiful: vineyards or peach trees, then in the background the
Andes. We are doing our morning break in Tupungato. We eat the peaches which
are delicious.
Then we climg a big hill and have lunch. The day
is long. In the afternoon, we move faster because it's a light
downhill to Mendoza. We arrive around 7:00 pm at Daniel, a very nice
warmshower, with whom we discuss the whole evening around a good meal.
On Saturday we visit the center of Mendoza, and taste local
specialties at night, mainly the goat (very good by the way ...). And on Sunday it's rest day and blog update.
