Awakened by early riser sheep we head west towards Porvenir from where we'll take a ferry to Punta Arenas. The day is very beautiful: not a cloud on the horizon and a small westerly wind. The track is not in very good condition but the traffic is practically non-existent: it seems that all the trucks left us at the previous intersection to reach Cerro Sombrero, a village in the north, the shortest way to Argentina. Approaching the end of the day we feel fatigue and hunger. We stop camping along the road. Our food and gasoline stock for the stove will hardly be enough for one more day. We are 60km from Porvenir, which means we will need more than a day to reach the city. We rest a bit more this evening, tomorrow will be a hard day.
