The goal of the day is to reach Mont Saint-Michel, or not far from it. There is only ten kilometers to reach a greenway that will take us to the coast.
We spend a very good breakfast with Ginette and Alain. We leave them not without difficulty, we felt at home. On the way to the greenway we pass by a farm producing perry, a delicious pear cider, a local specialty. We leave with a bottle of apple juice and one of perry.
The green way zigzags in the countryside avoiding the hills, it's an old railway. At noon we eat our rillettes accompanied by perry before resuming our way. The countryside is wooded and hilly, it's very pretty.
Once the greenway is over, we can see Mont Saint-Michel in the distance. After a few more kilometers, we try a campsite that doesn't suit us. A little further we ask a restaurant permission to sleep on a piece of land behind the parking lot. They accept against almost nothing. Once settled, washed and fed we decide to wait for the sunset on the Mont Saint-Michel, anyway it's too hot to settle in the tent.
