We get up early to have less wind. The Rio Santa Cruz is very sandy and we find plenty of sand in our teepee. The wind is already strong. After 15 hard kilometers, we motivate ourselves to keep moving forward. Then, thanks to the change of valley, the wind turns into side then tailwind.
François took 8 liters of water, which allow us to find a campsite without a water source. Despite the hard start, it's a good day and some colorful mountains are very beautiful. But not a single human other than by car, and not a single animal.
