We leave early this morning hoping that the wind would be weaker. We've about ten kilometers before forking on the road leading to El Chalten, 89 kilometers further.
The wind is already strong at 8am. On the road to El Chalten, we've headwind. The wind is so strong that we hardly go faster than on foot.
We hitchhike after 30 kilometers. A Dutch couple takes us to El Chalten.
At El Chalten, we reserve the boat for the day after tomorrow, and we take a very good draft beer in a cozy bar.
